John J. Di Sibio passed away less than a month after brain tumor surgery. He is reunited in Heaven with his Father and Mother, Joseph and Rachel Di Sibio, and sisters JoAnn and Christine Di Sibio. John graduated from Pittsburg High and joined the Army where he fought in the Korean War. He was a postal carrier in Pittsburg until retiring. He recently lived in Capitola where John enjoyed the ocean air and playing pool, bocce, pinnacle, and most recently working on a pilot’s license for light weight model air planes.
John leaves behind his son Ed, brother Dave (JoAnna), granddaughter Rachel (Frank), nieces, nephews, cousins, and very special friends. Visitation will start at 6:00pm on Thursday, Feb 23, 2012, with a Vigil to follow at 7:00pm. Liturgy will begin at 10:00am on Friday, Feb 24, 2012. All services will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, 2200 E. 18th St., Antioch, CA 94509.
