Geraldine passed away on February 5, 2012 in Vacaville with family by her side.
She was born in New Haven, Connecticut on March 12, 1933 to Isabelle & Duffern Davidson. She worked 50 years in the food and catering service industry as a server. She worked over 30 years at the Broiler Steak & Fish House of San Pablo. During that time she developed quite a fan base. She maintained many friendships over the years with her customers and coworkers. She made a special connection with everyone because of her endearing personality. Geri, with her vibrant red hair, was known as Big Red to many of her customers.
Geri (also known as Tilly to many and Grandma Red to her grandkids) was always fun to be around and full of life. She loved to attend family gatherings, in which she would always be the life of the party. She enjoyed spending time in the kitchen and was an amazing cook. She loved fishing at the lake with her family and also enjoyed collecting photos and memorabilia of her friends and family. She was a kind & caring person always putting others first.
Geri spent the last 20 years of her life in Fairfield to be close to her son. She will always have a special place in the hearts of everyone who knew her. She was loved by all and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband Austie Regan and also three of her children, Gene Cook, Gail Cook & Rhonda Hayward. She is survived by two sons, Harry Cook, Mike Bisek, daughter-in-law Cathy Bisek, granddaughter Ashley Bisek & grandson Brett Bisek, brother Harry Dewey, close cousins Vic Langlais, Mary Munion, Dolly Meletiou as well as many other close cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held for Geraldine on Friday, February 10, 2012 between the hours of 11am and 12:30pm with the Funeral Service to occur at 12:30 in the St. Gabriel Chapel at Holy Angels Funeral Center, 2540 Church Lane, San Pablo. The Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, located at the same address.
