Jose Sanchez Ordaz

RESIDENT OF LIVERMORE
Born in Ocampo, Mexico and resided in Livermore since 1959. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Dominga, his six children, Cruz Maria Stahl, Coral Wood, Marta, Luis and David Ordaz and Jose Ordaz, Jr., his seventeen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He was first employed by Wente Winery. He worked for the Livermore School District at Granada High School for 20 years and then helped in the community by delivering meals for Meals on Wheels for thirteen years. After retiring from Spectrum he stayed home and helped care for his grandchildren and enjoyed being home with his family.
A viewing will be at St. Michael Church, 458 Maple St., Livermore on Tuesday, Feb. 7 at 6:30PM with a rosary at 7:00PM. On Wednesday, Feb. 8 Mass will be at 11:00AM at St. Michael Church. Internment will be at St. Michael Cemetery following the mass. Please consider a donation to Meals on Wheels in lieu of flowers.
