Teodoro Cabili Reyes of Martinez, CA passed away January 13, 2012. He was 71.
Teodoro was born in Baguio City, Philippines to Bernardino and Teodora Reyes. He was the 5th child out of 7 children. Teodoro moved from the Philippines to the United States in 1982 and again from Texas to California in 1988. He was active in the Filipino community as well as active in his Parrish, Christ the King.
Teodoro enjoyed playing sports especially basketball, tennis, bowling, racquetball, and golf. Not only did he love his own family, but he loved his extended family especially all this nephews and nieces. Teodoro was known to be the “fun uncle,” story teller, and joker. He was a leader and was known to not give up without a fight. Teodoro was an intelligent man who loved Math and loved to teach it to his kids.
Teodoro was preceded in death by his son Mark and is survived by his wife Sonia of Antioch, daughter Monique of Sydney, Australia, his sons Michael of San Jose and Marvin of Antioch, and his grandsons Max and Zac of Sydney, Australia.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, January 19, 2012 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm with a vigil service at 6:00pm at Holy Cross Cemetery, 2200 East 18th Street, Antioch. The funeral service will be Friday, January 20, 2012 at 10:00am at Holy Cross Cemetery.
