Julia Gudino-Terriquez passed away on December 25, 2011. She was 61 years old. A graduate from James Logan, she later worked for many years as a bilingual para-professional for the NHUSD. After her teaching years she became a APP Case Specialist for Davis Street Family Resource Center. Julia was also a guitarist and singer for a 70's trio band. She loved to cook, sing and spend time with her family. Julia was also very active in the Mexican-American community, teaching baile folklorico, planning cinco de mayo activities and celebrations and even being part of the farm workers cause. She also was a long time board member and team mom for the UCGSA.
Daughter of the late Frank and Lily Gudino, Julia is survived by her daughter Kristal Gonzalez, son-in-law Jose Gonzalez and grandchildren Jessica and Jose Gonzalez. She lift a void in all our hearts and will forever be missed.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, January 5, 2012 from 4:00pm to 8:30pm with a vigil service at 7:00pm at Holy Angels Funeral Center, 1051 Harder Road, Hayward. Funeral Mass will be Friday, January 6, 2012 at 10:00am at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 703 C Street, Union City. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 26320 Mission Blvd., Hayward.
