Estelle was the daughter of the Late Louis and Margaret Volponi; sister of Dr. John T. Volponi (Peggy), aunt of Joe (Tracy), Jim (Maureen), John, Tom (Cathy), Jerry (Sherry) and Daniel Volponi; great-aunt of Josh, Jake, Jordan, Nicholas, Olivia and Jack Volponi; special friend and caregiver, Hermie Roque.
She was an active volunteer over 40 years at Valley Memorial Hospital and a Member of the Valley Memorial Hospital Auxiliary until her death. Estelle was a life long resident of Livermore where she was born and raised and a life long member of St. Michael Church where she was soloist for 25 years. She was a member of the YLI (Young Ladies Institute) and the Sirettes.
She was an executive secretary of Coast Manufacturing and Supply Co. (now Hexcel Corp.) for 25 years prior to her retirement in 1974.
Vigil services will be at St. Michael Church, 458 Maple St., Livermore on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012 at 7:00PM to 9:00PM with Mass on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012 at 1:00PM. A private burial will take place at St. Michael cemetery after the mass.
