Paula E. (Miraglia) Henning

PAULA (MIRAGLIA) HENNING, age 87, in Oakland on Jan. 5, 2012, widow of her beloved Charles Henning and twin sister to the late Frank Miraglia, sister to her late siblings Patrick, Joseph, Jim, Tony, Helen, and Mary. She will be missed by her nieces and nephews Antoinette (John) Morrison, Ray (Peggy) Miraglia, Jim Miraglia, Jr. (Susan), Rosemary (Don) Evenson, Sandra Miraglia, Mike (Cheryl) Miraglia, Patrick (Valeta) Miraglia, Lorraine (Mike) Sonnen, Tom (Patricia) Miraglia, Melody Anderson, many grandnieces and nephews, and her many cherished cousins, including Annie (Danny) Iacopi of Los Banos.

A long time resident of Oakland who retired as an administrative assistant, Paula was a member of the Sodality at St. Jarlath's Church in Oakland and volunteered at Mercy Retirement and Care Center. Her hobbies included gardening, cooking, watching sports events, reading novels, as well as going for daily walks. She was a generous supporter of many charities and institutions including the protection of animals and their care.

The Memorial Mass is Tues., Jan. 10 at 10 AM at Corpus Christi Church at the corner of Park Blvd. and St. James Drive in Piedmont. Parking is available in the school yard on Park Blvd.
