RESIDENT OF LIVERMORE
Roanne Cabamungan Cairel of Livermore, CA was born on January 29, 1987. She passed away during the early morning hours of Tuesday, December 27, 2011, at just 24 years of age after fighting a courageous five-year battle with colon cancer.
Roanne was born at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Walnut Creek, CA and was raised in Livermore. She graduated from Granada High School in 2005. During her high school years she participated in color guard and dance troupe. After high school she took some courses at Las Positas College and was a member of the college's dance department.
Dancing was Roanne's passion. Along with dancing, her hobbies consisted of, amongst other things, hanging out with family and friends, shopping, driving, and coloring. She was very outgoing and willing to try new things.
Roanne left behind her family dog, Sophie, and her own cat, Sox; both whom she loved dearly. She is survived by her parents, Rodolfo and Avel Cairel; her younger siblings, Ryan, Mary Rose, Melanie, and Maylene; as well as her boyfriend, Christopher Hall; all from Livermore.
Visitation will be held at St. Michael Church, 458 Maple St., Livermore on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM with a Vigil Service starting at 7:00PM. On Wednesday, January 4, 2012 a mass will be celebrated at 10:00AM with burial to follow at St. Michael Cemetery.
