AUGUST 10, 1936 - DECEMBER 5, 2011
RESIDENT OF ALAMEDA
Milling P. White, aged 75, longtime resident of Alameda, California passed away Monday after her courageous battle with cancer. Milling is survived by her sister Margaret Aubrey and brother Joseph Sanchez, sons Michael Martinez and Ralph Martinez, grandchildren Andre Martinez, Isaac White, Brennan Martinez, Cameryn Dixon and Kayelin Dixon. Milling was preceded in death by two of her children, Janai White and Jared White.
Milling was born in Berkeley, California on August 10, 1936 and lived throughout the Bay Area most of her life. She worked in the secretarial and accounting field before retiring. Milling loved life and was always on the go. Friends and family could always depend on her for help in a time of need or just a place to stay. She truly believed in family and it always showed. She loved to play slot machines and often took trips with Margaret and her brother in law Peter Aubrey looking for that elusive big win. Milling also enjoyed going to pow wows with her brother Joe and sister in law Anne. I never met a person who didn't like my mother, which is quite a statement to the person she was. She knew pain losing a husband and 2 children before their time, but still continued on living, she was an inspiration to many.
Family and friends are invited to attend services on Monday, December 12, 2011 at Holy Angels Funeral Center, 1051 Harder Road, Hayward, California. Funeral service will be at 11:00am
