Eufemia L. Ragadio went to be with the Lord on December 15, 2011 at the age of 84. She is now joined with her loving husband, Porferio Ragadio, who preceded her in death in 2000. Eufemia was born in the Philippines to the late Eugenio and Pilar Lucero, and was second to the youngest of six children. She had been a teacher before immigrating to the United States. She is survived by her only child, Emmanuel, two grandchildren, Angela (married to Alvin Esclamado) and Emmanuel Jr., four great grandchildren, Angelique, Alyssa, Alvin Jr., and Alicia, brother, Teodoro Lucero, sister, Gloria Alegado, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on December 21, 2011 from 4:00pm to 8:30pm with a vigil service at 6:30pm at Holy Angels Funeral Center, 1051 Harder Road, Hayward, CA. Funeral Mass will be December 22, 2011 at 11:00am at St. Bede Catholic Church, 26950 Patrick Avenue, Hayward, CA. Burial to follow at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA.
Eufemia loved her family and enjoyed being with them. Her laughter, generosity and cheerful spirit will be greatly missed. She will forever be in our hearts.
