RESIDENT OF CONCORD

Our beautiful Inay/Lola/Auntie, was taken into the arms of our Lord on November 27, 2011 at 98 years old. She was the wonderful wife of Cristobal Ramos Enriquez, Sr. (deceased), and a loving mother to Cristina (Bernie) Cagauan of Millilani, HI, Virginia (Publio) Mallillin of Pittsburg, CA, Zenaida (Ruperto) Dela Pena of Cape May, NJ, Aurora (Peter) Cabonot of Renton, WA, Maria Consolacion of Pittsburg, CA, Nenita (Bill) Ninde of Concord, CA, Gloria Enriquez (deceased), Cristobal, Jr. (Violy) Enriquez of Pittsburg, CA, Sixto Enriquez of Manila, Philippines, and Crisanto (Cristy) Enriquez of American Canyon, CA. She had 20 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Cleotilde was born in the Philippines on June 3, 1913 and is survived by two of her sisters, Naty Salavarria and Nene Maguyon. She was a full-time homemaker – par excellence. In recognition of her selfless dedication to her family, she was voted “Outstanding Mother of the Year” at Arellano High School (Manila, Philippines) in 1952. In the years that followed, she moved to the United States and resided in Hawaii, later moving to Alaska, Florida, and finally settling in California. Her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews across the United States, Canada, Philippines, Australia, Holland, and in other parts of the world will remember her most for her abundant love and delicious dishes.

We will miss you tremendously. Your loved ones and your friends at Ygnacio Valley Care Center will miss laughing and joking with you, caring for you, and calling you “Nanay”. We will always treasure and cherish your love, friendship, generosity, thoughtfulness, and your great sense of humor and wit.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, December 1st from 2:00 to 5:00 pm with a 4 p.m. Vigil, at St. Ignatius of Antioch Catholic Church, 3351 Contra Loma Blvd., Antioch, CA. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, December 2nd at 1:30 pm with Committal following at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Antioch, CA on December 2nd.
