Lupe entered into Heaven November 19, 2011. She was born in Mexico on December 11, 1921.
Lupe was a prominent member of her community and volunteered at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Union City for 30+ years. Lupe dedicated her life to her faith and was a devoted mother. She played bingo with the Las Muchacha's until 2010.
Lupe is survived by her loving children Cruz Tapia, Victor Tapia, Arturo Tapia, Antonio Tapia, Martha Munoz, Berta Zuniga, Maria Hasabe and Rebecca Gutierrez and her brother, Jesus Martinez. Grandchildren: Michael, Patricia, Susan, Sam, Mary Alice, Annette, Ramiro Jr., Juan Jr., Ernestino, Christina, Nativida, Israel, Victor Jr., Stella, Salina, Lupe, Sarah, Michelle, Antonio Jr., Monique, Miguel, Robert Jr, David, Sammy Jr., Daniel, Leonard Jr., Corina, Dominic. Great-grandchildren: Michael Jr., Peter, Victoria, Tiffany, Nicholas, Michael, Victoria, Victor III, Erika, Gabriella, David, Marisol, Sabrina, Andrew, Jordan, Faith, Olivia, Mathew, James, Antonio III, Daniya, Antiana, Jocelyn, Genieve, Juscena, AnnaLisa, Sarah, Elijah, Isaac, Ryan, Stephanie, Monique, Donavan, Dakota, Sage, Jordan, Jessica. She was preceded in death by her two sons Miguel Tapia and Ramiro Tapia and her great-granddaughter, Alexandra Tapia. Her loving and generous spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
