Marcella M. Pacini, 87 years, born in Tuscany, Italy and passed away in Castro Valley, CA. on November 17, 2011.

She is survived by her step-son Gary; grandchildren Melanie Pacini, Dawn Cummings, Jenny Smart, 4 great-grandchildren & 1 great great-grandson. Preceded her in death was her husband Edo and her son Mark.

Marcella loved to spend her time fishing, camping, quality time with her family. She will be missed by family & friends.

Family & friends are invited to Funeral Services on Tuesday, November 22, 2011, 11:00 AM at Holy Angels Sorensen Chapel, 1140 B St, Hayward. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hayward immediately following.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Marcella's name to the American Cancer Society.

As a teenager my family rented a duplex from Michelle and Edo. I babysat Mark and helped him to learn to read. She was a great friend. We moved back to Missouri when I was 17, but I took my son and me out to see them years later and it was like I had never been gone. Edo and Michelle remembered the good old days and we ate and laughed a lot. I send her pics every year of my grandchildren and letters at Christmas. She will be missed very much. She was a genuine person and I feel privileged to have known her and her family.
