RESIDENT OF HAYWARD
June B. Howe died peacefully in Shingle Spgs. on Oct. 14, 2011, at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by parents Fred & Bernice Brinkman, sister Erma Nelson, & beloved husband Thomas J. Howe. She is survived by son Gary D. Howe, daughter Cindy S. Armstrong, & "favorite son-in-law" Steven J. Armstrong. She also leaves behind her dear sister-in-law Margaret Pearce & several nieces & nephews.
She was blessed to be reunited with 3 nieces & 1 nephew in her last few years & was recently presented with her genealogy dating back to the 1700's. Nothing could have brought her more joy.
She enjoyed cats, crosswords, & those slot machines! June was a kind & gentle soul, with a warm & giving heart. She was one of the nicest persons on the face of this earth.
Viewing will be held at All Saints Church, 22824 Second St., Hayward on Monday, Oct. 24, at 9:30-10:30a.m., with a Funeral Mass held at 10:30a.m. A reception will follow at the IOOF Bldg, 952 B St, with parking in the rear. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to an Alzheimer's Foundation (alz.org 1-800-272-3900) or Petfinder.com.
