Dorine Lorraine Serpa passed away peacefully on the evening of Saturday, September 24th, at the age of 88. Dorine was a graduate of Castlemont High School in Oakland and enjoyed a 40 year career with the City of Alameda. She touched many lives over the years and her sense of humor was her trademark.
Dorine was preceded in death by her husband, Lembert "Lindy" Joseph Serpa and is survived by her daughter, Karen Semkiw of El Dorado Hills, along with her son-in-law George Semkiw and grandchildren Corey Serpa, Jonathan Semkiw, and Bret Semkiw. Her generous and loving spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, September 29th from 5:00 - 8:30 pm with a 7:00 pm vgil at Holy Angels Funeral Center, 1051 Harder Rd., Hayward. Funeral Service will be on Friday, September 30th at 11:00 am at Holy Angels Funeral Center, burial to Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hayward.
